  • It has a non-linear Zinc oxide discs which is capable of withstanding the surges.
  • The Surge Arrestor has a flexible, thin sheds in silicone rubber. Unlikely event of a failure of a surge arrestor, porcelain housing may crack, but silicone rubber insulator may merely split open thereby preventing damage to the adjacent equipments.
